In Loving Memory of Ben Donoghue 30 August 1939 -  03 August 2023

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father Ben Donoghue, an extraordinary visionary and the joint creator and driving force behind PB Donoghues remarkable journey. From his humble beginnings in County Leitrim to the soaring heights he reached in London today.

With a heart full of determination, ambition and continual hard work, Ben and Elizabeth embarked on this entrepreneurial adventure with unyielding courage. As the founding director with his wife Elizabeth, he laid the foundation of our company with relentless dedication and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Because of his astute leadership, PB Donoghue blossomed into a formidable force and has grown into one of London and Hertfordshire’s leading Waste Management Companies.

Beyond his impressive business acumen, his visionary outlook and ability to foresee trends allowed our company to remain at the forefront of innovation. His leadership has left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire future family generations of entrepreneurs and business leaders.

In all his years Ben never forgot his Irish roots and his love for his homeland,  he was committed to giving opportunities to young Irish people relocating from Ireland and his kindness and generosity touched many over the 50 years. 

Though he is no longer with us, his indomitable spirit will forever remain intertwined with the foundations of our company. His passion for excellence and determination to overcome challenges will continue to be our guiding light as we navigate the future.

In honour of Ben Donoghue's legacy, we pledge to carry forward the principles and values he instilled within our company many years ago. We will continue to grow and prosper, drawing inspiration from the extraordinary journey he set us upon.

As we mourn the passing of a remarkable leader, we also celebrate the incredible life he lived and the profound impact he had on all of us.
