Tipper & Grab Hire Service
The movement of materials is at the heart of our business. Our extensive fleet of modern, radio-controlled tipper and grab lorries are a regular sight on the streets and highways of London and the home counties. Apart from being the ‘work horses’ for our business, P B Donoghue vehicles are often hired out to other contractors, local authorities and utilities companies.

Aggregates
P B Donoghue has adopted an urgent brief to ‘manage earth resources’ in a way that maintains good commercial habits combined with a sensitive approach to the environment. We provide high grade inert materials ranging from Fine Sand, Top Soil, Type 1& 2 Crushed Concrete and Concrete Fines. In addition to the provision of materials, other allied services such as crushing, screening and muck away is also offered as a service.

Plant Hire
The range and scope of our plant is a vital aspect of our business. All our plant, whether it be 40 tonne excavators, 3 tonne mini diggers, dozers, dumpers, backhoe loaders or road sweepers are wholly owned by P B Donoghue. Maintenance of our plant is to the highest standards of mechanical excellence and our staff take great pride in holding on to that well earned reputation.

Ground Works
We’ve acquired an industry reputation for being the ‘big dig’ specialists. Bulk excavation and large scale groundworks are second nature to our business, all carried out with our own operated plant and extensive fleet of modern tipper lorries. P B Donoghue has a long standing philosophy of ‘care for the environment’. We make sure that our site remediation work such as recycling and extracting aggregates, is ‘eco friendly’ and measures up to the highest standards required by the profession. Disposal of hazardous waste and contaminated matter is handled by our trained operatives under strict supervision and in line with all the necessary statutory regulations. Builders Merchants
P B Donoghue offers a ‘Builders Merchant’ facility to both the trade and to our many valued clients. This service has been born out of years of incurring expensive material costs and delivery charges. The outsourcing and stocking of good quality building material still remains a key aspect of the business and the benefits are naturally passed on to our clients.
Our instore shop is well stocked with key supplies and a comprehensive range of industry tools for the trade. Our friendly staff are all industry trained and will be able to help and assist in any area pertaining to the building trade. It is always appreciated when final costs match up to fixed budgets and especially if, during the course of a project, significant savings could be made by careful and prudent management of the expected project spend.
